Bottles for Babies With a Preference

I was recently given the opportunity to review some baby bottles by Como Tomo.  And let me tell you, I am a big fan! The BPA-free silicone is soft, yet sturdy enough that the bottle stands upright. The wide bottle top and nipple make switching from breast to bottle easier - great for working mothers who choose to bottle and breastfeed!  Anyone who has dealt with drying rack clutter or spent time scrubbing the nooks and crannies of bottles and their accompanying pieces will appreciate these bottles do not require special brushes or a drying rack, and only have 3 pieces! After the initial boil, the bottle can be washed in the dishwasher. Also, the wide mouth contributes to the ease of cleaning. The nipples and bands stack together nicely and the silicone bottles can also be stacked in order to save space when storing. I was highly impressed to see that Como Tomo includes breastmilk storage instructions in the literature that accompanies the bottles. Many new mothers have questions about this and Como Tomo has taken out the guesswork. I think every mother should have at least one set of these bottles, if not more!

I also passed along some Como Tomo bottles to a few new families to get their input. Here are their reviews:

"I love the cute design of the como tomo bottle. The slow flow nipple doesn't drip when held upside down, so I know my little one is having to work to get milk out, just as she needs to do at the breast. The first time we introduced a bottle to her, we used the como tomo, and she took to it with no hesitation. The bottle is also very easy to clean, which is a huge plus!"

"I really like the ComoTomo bottle! It's easy to clean and assemble. Best of all, my son drank more slowly and no gulping for air afterwards. It's comfortable for me to hold for him and easy for him to hold as well!"

"Baby took to it like she does to mama with no hesitation. I didn't have to mess with bags, and she didn't seem to suck in much air either. All in all, a great experience!"
